A Blend of Minimalism and Art Deco Elegance
“Beauty Essence” is an interior design project that redefines the modern beauty studio experience. Conceived with a vision of serene sophistication, this space offers a luxurious yet inviting atmosphere, meticulously crafted to enhance the client’s journey of self-care and transformation. The design philosophy centers on a minimalist aesthetic, gracefully infused with the timeless allure of Art Deco accents, creating an environment that is both contemporary and classically elegant. Inspired by the attached warm neutral moodboard, the design evokes a sense of calm and luxury, where every detail contributes to a cohesive and comforting ambiance. The interplay of soft textures and a carefully curated chromatic palette ensures a soothing visual experience.

Material & Chromatic Palette
The material and color selection are pivotal to the studio’s distinctive character. A sophisticated blend of textures and tones creates a rich, layered environment:
Gold Champagne Steel: Used for elegant accents, this material introduces a touch of Art Deco opulence, reflecting light and adding a subtle shimmer throughout the space. Its warm metallic sheen perfectly complements the overall neutral palette.
White Marble: Employed for surfaces, white marble contributes a sense of pristine luxury and timelessness. Its natural veining adds organic beauty and a cool, clean contrast to the warmer elements.
Powder Pink Velvet: Plush and inviting, powder pink velvet introduces a soft, feminine touch and a luxurious tactile experience. This delicate hue adds warmth and comfort, creating inviting seating areas and accents.
Natural Light Oak Wood: Providing a grounding and organic element, natural light oak wood is used for flooring and select furnishings. Its subtle grain and light tone contribute to the minimalist feel while adding warmth and authenticity to the space.
The Challenge & Design Features
A significant challenge in this project was to effectively combine six distinct zones of interest and ensure fluid functionality within a compact space of just 63 square meters. These zones include the reception and waiting area, makeup zone, cosmetic treatment zone, hairstyle and hair wash zone, pedicure and manicure area, and a toilet. Each zone was meticulously harmonized to maximize the overall functionality of the space. For instance, the hairstyle zone was ingeniously designed to accommodate four back-to-back stations within a very limited footprint, demonstrating a commitment to optimizing every square meter for practical use.
The design thoughtfully integrates functionality with aesthetic appeal. Minimalist lines ensure an uncluttered and spacious feel, while Art Deco-inspired details, such as geometric patterns and metallic finishes, provide visual interest and a sense of curated sophistication. Natural light is maximized to create a bright and airy environment, further enhancing the serene atmosphere.
From Concept to Reality
